“Disappointing stay in AgaSurf View. I scratch my head at the other reviews. We did have terrible weather during our stay which did not help but the room 's water did not work, the toilet did not flush. The rooms are very modern in themselves and present very well. Disappointed with the meals although it tasted fine the price was twice what it would have been in town for a similar meal. 60000lkr for sri lankan curries for two, a beer and 1 glass of house wine. I did not ask the price first……

“The views were stunning. The staff friendly, helpful and eager to please. The chef cooked excellent meals. Thank you very much for looking after me during my stay. ”

“It is not worth for the money at all. The food could be better and AC does not work well in the room. We paid a lot of money for the 5star hotel, but it is not five stars at all. ”

“Food good, breakfast nice, although expensive. Swimming pool looked and prob was lovely but right next to restaurant with glass walls so a bit too public for us. Nice sitting area close to trees with monkeys passing through. Staff very courteous and helpful, they arranged an elephant safari for us the same afternoon we arrived. The hotel is quite far from any other hotels or sights - Sigiriya is about 40 mins - so there’s no walking to eat anywhere else but you could get a tuktuk.”
