“Our stay at Paul's house was really great. There were 7 of us- all a part of our family- who traveled from wisconsin, Illinois, Oregon, and Austin to see the eclipse. The house is very comfortable and when we had questions Paul was always available by email to answer them promptly. We had asked about building a fire in the fire ring and he drove about an hour to bring us some firewood and some sweet rolls. We have stayed in some VRBOs where the kitchen is not the best- just a few plates,……

“We absolutely had a blast feeding the black angus cows and Baby Girl, the donkey. We bought cattle treats from Tractor Supply locally and cold long stem carrots from the local Walmart. Our family also raised cows, so we were familiar with them and hand fed a few. The cows came every morning around 9 am and by day four, they were gathered “mooing”for us to come outside. “We just adored the old farm house feel! Felt like stepping back to the days when we went to grandmas farm house. Max is a wonderful host and answered all our questions in a timely fashion.”

“We basically just slept here. Had hoped to spend a bit less time at the wedding reception and a bit more time at this property. There was a burned out light in the entry hall and a Yellow Jacket nest on the balcony, which are little details I don’t want to encounter. Otherwise the rooms are nice, roomy & updated with particularly nice bathrooms. ”

“I stayed at this hotel for 1 night when travelling Texas. I selected the hotel due to its reviews indicating it was the best in the area and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel was overall very good. The location of the hotel is bang in the centre of Bandera, which is a small Texan ‘Wild West’ style town. There’s plenty of bars and restaurants to cater for everyone’s needs. “Wasnt a bad stay at all. Cabins were really nice and staff was awesome. The onsite restaurant is a no-go! We plan on going back to the ranch but won't eat here. Plenty of choices in town. Feeding the deer with cowboy Buck on the wagon ride was a blast!! Overall a really fun & nice place. ”
