Food was very good and breakfast was good value and very nice, If anything, the bedrooms were a little on the small side and rooms need a bit of freshening up. All in All we were very happy with our stay and would certainly go again,”

“An old-fashioned hotel in an old building but there's nothing wrong with that - it has character, unlike a lot of modern anodyne ones. Service was exceptional: accommodating and friendly. It is located dead in the centre of the old town and is ideally placed for exploring it (and for staggering back from the pubs!). It also has a well regarded Thai restaurant on the ground floor, so no need to go far if you don't want to. There is free parking at the back. I would certainly stay again if I was……

“A very small bathroom. You could easily lose 2-3 ft in the bedroom Otherwse it was very good. ”

“Lots of gangs of kids hanging around, and not a safe feeling area. Property lacked basic things that you’d expect in a hotel. No one on site to contact to rectify things. Not a good place to stay. ”
