“Clean room. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. ”

“Check in was great. The hotel is beautiful and great location. But our toilet didn’t work and when I called I was told that the maintenance guy was on holiday. With no resolution offered until I insisted that we really needed a working toilet. Then we were moved to another room and the rest of the stay was great. It was just a bit off putting that it sounded like we were expected to be fine with a non working bathroom”

“Booking was easy, however, the writing was on the wall from early on during our stay. The cups in the room were ring stained, like they were washed out, not washed up. When we asked for a clean cup; rather than changing the dirty cup for a clean one, staff made a point of inspecting the cup and saying it was rinsed but maybe not scrubbed. Yeah, hence why it's dirty, because it's not been cleaned. Our first night was terrible. We were woken at about 0300 by other guests. The next 1.5 hours were……

“The hotel was about a 1-hour walking distance from the center, but there are plenty of bus stops, including right outside the hotel. It is also about a 10-minute walk to a shopping center with a supermarket and a McDonald's. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were functioning.”
