“It’s been a few years since I last stayed at Grange Manor, and overall it was a really enjoyable return visit. I asked for a room in the Garden Suite and was pleased to get one. The rooms there are a noticeable step up in quality and made the stay feel that bit more special. The only issue was that the hot water wasn’t working in the morning, which was frustrating. That said, the duty manager handled it positively and professionally, apologised, and promised a discount on my next stay, which I……

“We stayed at Pr.Inn Nth for a total of 7 nights whilst visiting relatives nearby. The receptionist (Kirsty) is our hero. She went over and above to help us with our inquiries re the local area, the local cemetery and the local council. We cant thank her enough. As well as helping me with my booking mistakes (on the internet) she was a mine of information re Scottish history and the area in general. To add to that, the breakfasts were great, taken in a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff there……

“Excellent apartments - spotlessly clean and modern decor . Split level accommodation with courtyard outside. Very nice for in the summer. Bed was comfy. Shower was great. Nice touch with the continental breakfast. Owner was amazing . Willing to spend the time to chat , which made the check-in experience nice. Very knowledgeable of the properties history( old court house) and the local area. Genuinely friendly and helpful. Very central to lots of coffee shops, pubs and dining……

“Fantastic stay. Stayed many times in a snug pod for business maybe 15 times a year. Tried a cabin for first time because the price was cheaper than normal. Amazing, shame its too expensive to do more often. Only downside was the wifi was hit and miss but overall very good”

“Lovely place to stay! Mary and Donald are excellent hosts and cook a superb breakfast. The house is clean, quite beautiful, and historic. It's about a 10 minute walk from plenty of shops and restaurants. Would happily stay at the Gables again.”

“Given free upgrade as I was celebrating my birthday. Room was huge! All staff were lovely, really made you feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Central location with parking provided so need to use the car once there. Would definitely stay again.”
