The room was advertisied as having Wifi, and it did not have Wifi or cell signal. Youll have to walk by the pool area to make calls. "The staff was super kind and helpful, they have a transfer service from and to the city by boat between 10am and 5pm. The cabin I chose had AC and the bar has quite a nice menu for food and drinks. Basic amenities but just fine, the guys will help you in whatever way they can and you won't be pestered so much by vendors. On the other hand, they should think about installing some catch-fly lights cause insects can be really annoying, especially when eating."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at GHL Arsenal. From the moment we stepped in from the heat, Alfonso made our stay extra special by greeting us with a lovely welcoming smile and a cold, delicious mixed fruit drink. It was perfect timing and set the tone for the rest of our stay. Breakfast was a la carte with lots of options and the happy hour drinks helped to end the day. The rooftop infinity pool was by far, the highlight of our stay. The incredible views of Cartagena's harbour were perfect up there. All in all, Alfonso and the rest of the staff made our trip a memorable one."

"Had a great experience here. The property is huge and it’s off the beach so decent views from the balcony and two pools one closer to the beach and one closer to property but still just a 3 min walk on property. Tennis court and the restaurant had an amazing seafood dish, cazual con marisco de Colombia. I had to take one home with me. My room didn’t have strong ac and they quickly found me a better room with normal ac. There was really no complaints. The place is nice and it wasn’t expensive. It’s not the closest to getsemani if you like night life so 22 min uber ride is needed because there is no nightlife in the beach area. But at least you get to wake up to a beach and it’s the only area they have hotels , with a beach front, where you don’t have to take a boat to stay in the beachfront island and not to far from night light. "
