“I don't typically really enjoy or even entertain hotel restaurants but this one was truly an exception. We enjoyed every meal we had there and I actually preferred it over any of the other local restaurants, finding it more affordable as well. With our 11m in tow for the first time, we felt quite at home with the high chair available in the restaurant, it made things much easier. The pool was a welcomed respite after a hot and humid day out and about. The staff were all exceptional and the room……

“Wonderful family operation, friendly, helpful staff, amazing view with lots of wildlife surrounding the hotel. From our door we spotted toucans, macaws, agouti, three types of monkeys, to mention a few. The owner is warm and welcoming. There is a delightful pool overlooking the jungle and ocean. We can’t imagine a lovelier place to stay. It is also very convenient to stores, a very natural beach, and restaurants. There is also a great highly rated Korean style restaurant on premises.”

“Beautiful grounds with many plants and we saw so many animals on the property!! Macaws living in one of the trees for years, a sloth was living right outside our balcony and many monkeys constantly traveling through. Pool was nice. Nice to have breakfast included. Just note some rooms have many stairs so probably not great for some older people. ”

“Las Cascadas has amazing virws of the mountains behind it. We saw birds and monkeys and even deer during our stay. The marina is very conveniently located just down the hill. This hotel is on a mountain, so there are a lot of hills and stairs. If you don't mind a hike, this hotel is definitely for you. All the staff were friendly and willing to help however they could. If you have not rented a vehicle, i suggest contacting them to arrange transportation from the airport in Quepos ”
