“We booked knowing this was an old property, and we wanted it for that reason. The room in the older building did look a little tired, and the balcony was run down and tired, but it had lovely views. What I didn't know and what detracted from enjoying the balcony, was the loud music that came from below us and lasted until 11:00 p.m. I called the hotel and was told the music "usually ends" around 10:00-10:30 p.m. So, by 10:45, I called again and was told that he would contact the bar.
