“It was a sad trip as we were dropping our daughter off for college. So it was a blessing to have this central location to be easy to check into to, keep clean, and feel safe. We were spooked out at the basement it that’s cause we do not have basements where we live. We let the horror stories about basements get the better of us. But that lasted like 60 minutes. Haha. I would rent this again. ”

“This is a fantastic little property. We stayed here to go to the Brimfield flea market and it was ridiculously close. The place was very clean and had everything we needed and it's got a beautiful view of the lake and a little dock that you can sit on and sip your wine. Gus was absolutely wonderful to work with and there were fresh baked cookies and a bottle of wine when we walked in. As well as some nice little treats in the fridge for us. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay ”

“Our family of six adults truly enjoyed our week at this lovely vacation spot. The water is very clear. The home has everything you need and more. We enjoyed breakfast in the screen room, looking over the dock and watching the heron. The lake is very peaceful, making for great kayaking and paddle boarding as well as cruising on the pontoon boat. Great sunset views. Each bedroom having its own AC allowed each to be at a comfortable temperature. Amanda was quick to respond to any inquiries. Looking……

“Summer was the most amazing place. It is so charming. It has everything you could want. A cool restaurant, a General Store, beach volleyball, basketball, tennis, a gym, two pools and a hot tub. It is also complete with a beach are and a large pond/lake that has canoe and kayaks available. Another perk is the gated community. “Loved the caboose! Had so much fun with my family! Plenty of space. Loved that it had full kitchen, AC and bathroom all inside. Wished we stayed longer. Loved the sitting spaces and the history of the caboose from the past. The location was tucked away and quiet and loved the views of the railroad. Would have been more ideal in another section of Palmer but makes sense it was near the Steaming Tender. ”
