“This property and its host are simply outstanding. Located in the North Yorkshire countryside, the property is a converted barn, adjacent to the main farmhouse. While retaining the charm of the old structure, it has thoroughly modern kitchen and bathrooms. The is an en-suite bedroom on the ground floor as well as an en-suite bedroom upstairs. “Beautifully presented accommodation in a great location which was totally spoiled by a few points. Firstly, the awful smell of drains which had been unsuccessfully camouflaged by several air fresheners throughout the apartment. Secondly, due to the fact that the basement bedroom is directly under the street, the only hope to a good nights sleep is by using ear plugs to block out the constant noise from above and a sleep mask to block out the continuous bright light coming through the glass……
