"Excellent location and very comfy rooms. Some hooks on the wall could help hanging the towel bags and some stuff otherwise everything is perfect. Thank you!"

Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo
10/10 Excellent
"So close to the station! Made it so easy to get to our trains. There is also plenty of dining options available on the property as well as in the surrounding area."
"I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again. The room was very sleek clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The bakery in the lobby was a quick easy way to grab a quick tasty bite before going out for the day. Rooftop bar was very nice. It’s located near the more traditional neighborhood , and was about a 20 minute very pleasant walk to the lively night life district / pontocho alley area. It was a short walk from Kiyomizu dera temple which was awesome to visit . Only downside was it was a bit far from Kyoto station, and with our bags, we opted to take a taxi every time we went to and from. There were some smaller metro stations close by but some of the larger ones to get to the big attractions we taxied to. Overall a small inconvenience and would still likely stay here again!!! "
"Love this hotel! Second time i stayed at this hotel and had good service. This time was a bit different. They could not find my reservation for the luggage to be shipped and then when we checked in, they didn’t give us the breakfast tickets which was included when I made the reservation. Otherwise, great hotel and fabulous location "
"Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Room is a bit tight, but I think that is to be expected with the style. Wife used the hot springs spa and enjoyed it."
