“This hotel is located in a great area within walking distance to many amenities, temples, and other tourist attractions. Our room was on the smaller side, but it was modern, well-designed, efficient, and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It was my birthday while we were there, and the staff gifted me with beautiful sake cups, which was so very thoughtful and unexpected. We really enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!”

“Staff was so helpful! Location was perfect!”

1. The bar on the top floor is said to be open in response to the weather, but it doesn't rain and it doesn't open (see if other restaurants nearby are open on the top floor) 2. There is a spider in the slippers in the room. 3. The room type looks like it is for inconvenient……

“Perfect location, great accommodation, need good English speaking concierge”

“The room was clean and tidy, and having a private sauna was amazing—it felt so relaxing to unwind there after walking all day! Parking is quite limited with only two spots available. We had to park at a nearby lot on the first night, but we were able to reserve a space for the remaining two nights, which made things very convenient.”

“Quiet location yet convenient. Elegant and refined.”

“One of the best hotels in the world. And definitely the best I have ever stayed at in my life. The employees are so friendly and leave enough space for customers. The rooms are so comfortable that they made me have a great sleep. The price is worth it.”

“Everything is great with the hotel - except - (1) long walk uphill to get back to hotel after a day out, and - (2) if you are driving, the hotel’s small carpark is at the bottom of the hill, which means you’ll have to walk up that moderately steep slope to get back to hotel….which can be a good daily exercise….”
