“Friendly staff, good food and ambiance.”

“Pull up to the front desk it wasn’t bad but that area could use a little work. The gentleman at the front desk was pretty professional. The property could use a some renovation also. Pool area was clean. Proceed to the room area I must say it was clean smell good and all I could need for a weekend getaway was there. My only problem I had is that I ask for a dueen bed and I think what I get was two double. But I’m not one for complaining so it was all good. I will definitely be going back……

“This wasn’t my first stay at GVH, but it will almost certainly be my last. It was my first time staying solo, and the experience fell well below expectations. To give credit, the grounds appear well maintained since Hurricane Melissa. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. For the price I paid for three nights, the WiFi was completely unacceptable. Reliable internet is a basic expectation. I checked with the front desk multiple times and was assured it worked, it didn’t. Only at……

“My father and I recently returned from a stay at Sandcastles - and I would wholeheartedly recommend the resort to anyone looking for a very friendly, local, and down-to-earth stay! As we first arrived, check-in was quite simple and staff was very friendly and swift to help us learn. Every day&night the resort had great food options either up top at the Silver Sands restaurant, or at the bar near the pool; the Castle Blu, with good drinks and great staff at both locations!
