"The vibe, architecture, services, and amenities are all lovely. Staff is warm and friendly, and the food and drinks at Le Gratin were excellent. If you’re looking for a taste of luxury without paying what you’d pay for a room at The Plaza or The Ritz, I’d definitely recommend The Beekman. "

"The check in person was CRAZY aggressive trying to upsell me $500/night for a suite. There was some strange noise in the wall from midnight to 3am. Like a cell phone was buried in the wall or something. buzzing/vibration. The bell staff were very nice. LOVED the giant family room."

"We chose the St.Regis for its famous lobby and bar and classic charm. We were not told until just before our arrival that the lobby was being renovated and off limits and the bar and restaurant were closed. We understand those are being modernized and the beautiful rooms will also be modernized. Exactly what we do not want, so we will not return."

"Fantastic hotel. Beautiful, clean, and staffed with very friendly and competent people. Will definitely come back! One small nit: Many cable stations were out in my room. So I had to give up MSNBC for three nights and resort to CNN and a smattering of ABC news. It probably for was for own good;)"

"Expensive but worth it. Two adults & 2 younger kids. We got a one bedroom suite that was HUGE. Most of the reasonably priced rooms in the city are the size of shoe boxes. NOTE: though they list that the room sleeps 4 , it doesn’t without rollaways. But the rooms are so big that the rollaways fit no problem. Bed was comfy. Room was quiet-never heard neighbors above, below, or to the sides. Usual NYC noise on the street at all hours but not bad with a white noise machine. Ask for a higher...

"Clean and modern rooms. Nice rooftop bar with good service to match. Amenities boxes in the room were present but empty for some reason. Late checkout is only till 13:00 after which it’s chargeable which was a disappointing “benefit” of the travel rewards company used for the booking. Excellent location and friendly staff, mostly."
