Great view!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time here and overall I'd recommend it. Most of the showers did not have hot water, but it's hot enough outside that it was okay.

Fabulous Location and amazing hosts

We really enjoyed pour time at the villa. The staff was amazing, the food, the view, the rooms - everything! The manager was fabulous and took care of everything - we didn't want for anything! Would definitely stay again!

Great home, so pretty!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at casa San Francisco! Many amenities and we had a couple of meals prepared that were delicious! Guille and the house staff were very helpful and a pleasure!

This place was awesome. The house staff cooked and cleaned and did a great job. Golf across the street was very good and the scuba dive was fantastic as well. Cant not say enough good things about this location. Would differently stay here again.

Wonderful home,well stocked and furnished.

Great fun! Wonderful outdoor area and beach access. We had an awesome chef too and massages at the house. The rooms are beautiful, the manager lovely and helpful. The location perfect for 5 couples! With 3 kids.

Fun Times with Family & Friends

Idyllic location on the beach; pool/patio space allows you to enjoy sunrises, sunsets and everything in between. House has everything you need for a relaxing vacation! Bonus: At night watched turtles coming onto the beach to lay their eggs; did require patience and ninja level stealth so as not to distrub. We will be back!

Will be going back!

We were a party of 4 couples and had a great stay at Casa Francisco! We have had an annual Mexico trip for 8 years, 6 in one location. We were quite spoiled with our previous location but needed a new city, and found it hard to find a place to meet all our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa San Francisco and plan on returning. The home itself, location, staff, meals, cleanliness made for a great vacay. I highly recommend!

Wonderful home and host team!

My family of 10 (ranging in age from 53 to 1) had a fabulous stay at Casa San Francisco! Quiet, secluded, yet within easy distance to many sights - most notably for my family were the archeological ruins throughout this region - a perfect home base. And downtime at the home with the pool and beach were just as great! We were cared for by a special team of lovely house staff - Guille, Naomi, and Jorge - who made our stay over the top special. We hope to return soon and find this little gem of a home as beautiful as we left it.

The most amazing week ever!

Great House on the Quite Side of Akumal

The house was perfect for a quiet and relaxing family vacation. Centrally located, this house was a short drive from all of the stuff we wanted to do (Mayan ruins, Cenote swimming, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Turtle Sanctuary in Akumal, golf, etc.). Every day included snorkeling off of our own beach, lounging by the pool and just plain R&R time. This is a quiet location in a gated community with good security (they patrolled the beach regularly). The house is well maintained and the staff are friendly without being obtrusive. Definitely worth the money spent and we highly recommend Casa de San Francisco.

Great place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and location were great. Taxis are expensive (to go 1.1 miles was $25 USD one way!) The pool isn’t heated so if it hasn’t been warm enough to heat it up it is COLD! I would stay here again as the staff and house were great! I would look for a closer location given the high costs of taxis.

What an amazing home

Our family group of 7 stayed at Casa San Francisco. The directions we were provided made finding the place easy . We were greeted by the property manager Guille upon our arrival. She was very helpful in explaining the workings of the property and she also checked in on us a couple of times during our stay. The home is absolutely beautiful and the pictures don’t do the beach justice. Sun rise was my favorite on the back patio. Jorge and Noemi kept the place spotless and were also great for providing information on local activities etc . Jorge cooked for us our last night and the meal was absolutely delicious. Highly highly recommend.

Fantastic stay!!

Went to Akumal with a family to celebrate our fathers 80th birthday. Cannot say enough positive things about the house and staff on site. The house was well kept and beautiful. The staff were friendly, and worked hard! They took good care of us. The view is incredible, the pool was perfect for our kids to swim in all day. We walked up and down the beach to search for coral and seashells, there was a crew that came by everyday to clean up any seaweed that was washed up. They provide water, and beach towels for your family, and make sure you have enough. There is someone that comes and cleans the pool and patio every morning. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. Everyone loved the stay here, wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect house for a friend vacation!

This house is awesome!! We were a group of 10 including some couples. There was plenty of space for everyone and lots of privacy. The outdoor space is great, offering a great pool and a mix of sun and shade. The views of the beach are great too. The beach itself is a bit rocky, but we went in with shoes on and used kayaks every day! The house manager was great for arranging out meals with the staff, and the food cooked was amazing. The concierge was very helping in helping us arrange airport transportation, a trip to the cenote, and trips into tulum. The house is about a 30 minute walk down the beach to Akumal, but the town is very small. If you’re looking for a great house with lots of space, great views, and great food, you won’t regret booking this place.

Cleaning, cooking, and laundry was all just top notch. They are very hard working and just pleasant to be around, so don’t forget to tip them before you go. They deserve every bit of it. The house is gorgeous and the pool and ocean view is fabulous. Our group of 9 had such an amazing time here. The staff even helped plan a special dinner including Mariachi! We can’t wait to come back.

Perfect for our group of 11!

The house was so spacious, comfortable and well appointed for our group of 11. There were eight adults and three children. The view was absolutely beautiful and we never tired of it. Our entire stay felt magical! There was good snorkeling out front, kayaks to use and we were in the pool everyday. The home was very clean, nicely decorated and really well cared for by the staff. Drinking water was provided and plentiful. It felt very safe. We would definitely return and stay here again!!! Our only suggestions are little things: more towels/washcloths available, a broom and dustpan in the home and upgraded pots and pans as we did quite a bit of cooking during our 8 days. Such a great place, we didn't want to leave. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

Casa San Francisco was a dream! The house was absolutely a magical experience.

From the first day there, we knew we could trust Gia and the whole family that would be coming in and out of the house for cleaning, and we never worried a bit about it. It felt like extended family with them taking care of us. When we had them make dinners for us, they’d ask us specifically what types of things we’d like and they were accommodating by making soups, chicken, and fish. And I can’t forget the guacamole they made fresh, it was amazing. Outside are plenty of deck chairs and even snorkels, fins, and goggles for snorkeling off the beach. The little touches all around the house made it special, like a bunch of sunscreen, games, books, and very quiet AC units in all the rooms. Thanks for a wonderful experience, Gia. It was so nice to spend the week in the house! Fresh bottled water and cabnitrey items, Essentials in the pantry. Tupperware. Meals cooked were amazing. Great central location from Tulum, where we went out for dinner and sightseeing, as well as to Playa de Carmen. I’d definitely come back!

Bliss on the Beach

We stayed at Casa San Francisco for a week with extended family. We were 3 couples and 2 singles. The house was exactly as advertised: clean, comfortable, charming, roomy and with all the amenities to make our stay enjoyable. The design of the house, the decor and the kindness of the staff made us feel like we were staying at the home of friends. The house is beautiful and comfortable without being stuffy or ostentatious. We had three meals prepared by Jorge and Nomi, and the food was plentiful and tasty Mexican home cooking. You can actually snorkel from the beach right in front of the house, and see many colorful fish. It’s very close to Akumal center where there are good restaurants, a fully stocked market, an ATM and a dive shop. Since we were there to relax and mostly just enjoy the pool and the beach, the location was perfect for us. We felt completely safe in the house, which is in a gated neighborhood staffed 24/7 by a guard. The only very minor critiques I have are that the pillows on the beds are flat and not high quality, and the water pressure in the showers is not strong. But these are minor issues and didn’t interfere with our enjoyment of our stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a very fun family vacation. We wouldn't rent Casa San Francisco again, though.The property was in a good location, fairly well maintained, mostly clean, and basically met expectations. Beds were excellent. Staff were very nice people - cheerful and helpful - but communication was very difficult due to their lack of tech skills and a language barrier. Communication with management company was very poor until about a week prior to our stay, then excellent during our stay. Kitchen was ill-equipped for food prep by guests, which was a real disappointment because we all love to cook, and would have baked goodies. Oven's thermostat didn't work. Gathering areas - dining, living, kitchen - were small and very loud (sound absorbing surfaces on walls, floors, furnishings would have helped).
