「This is a lovely hotel, welcoming, full of character, and lovely rooms. Our visit was somewhat spoiled by a noisy air conditioning. The temperature was set at 28c we woke up at 3am, hot and sweaty. initially, we were unable to switch it off, or turn it down. We eventually got back to sleep, but woke up shattered. The hotel were excellent in sorting out a partial refund, but we would rather have had a good night’s sleep.」

「Excellent stay for our trip to The New Forest. The room was cosy, had everything that was needed from table n chairs, two comfy chairs, very comfy bed and pillows. Iron and board, towels, wash flannel, all wash/cleaning equipment, mini cooker, toaster, pint milk in fridge. Everything was perfect.
