“Train will keep you up all night”

“Solo traveler who stopped in for the night. My stay was comfortable, clean, and exactly what I needed. Chris was very helpful when I had trouble accessing my key after office hours. I also enjoyed the fire they had going. Would definitely stay again!”

“Shower was great, clean room and comfortable bed. Only drawback and very minor quibble, no lamp near bed.”

“Friendly staff.”

“the room was very clean.. the staff was weak at best;. they did not seem to care much about my stay.. the coffee maker in the room did not work. and it was explained away, not good.. the plug was so short that even if it did work, it had to be plugged in on the floor.. the sheets were awful. a queen was used on a king bed, the mattress was hard as a rock and very uncomfortable..there was coffee in the office and it was tepid at best. so much for coffee. the door was out of alignment and it……

“The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful . If you are staying on the second floor there are about 15-18 steps to navigate up as there is no elevator. Currently there is no in house restaurant. There are a few off the main street.”

“Great place in the heart of Marfa! Charming with lots of ‘Easter eggs’ to find. Will come back and spend more time.”

“The cottage was really cute and clean. Plenty of towels. My daughter kept in touch with the staff for me. It did have a fireplace which was not needed for our stay but fall hit soon after we left. There was not a kitchen but did have a mini fridge and microwave. We spent time at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Balmorhea State Park, actually saw the Marfa lights, and the McDonald Observatory. Definitely recommend!”

“We loved our stay at Fort Davis Drug Store. The room was very clean and well maintained and the shared spaces were very unique! We had a lot of fun checking out all of the games (pool, checkers, foosball, etc.) and spending time downstairs. Fort Davis was a fun town and everyone was very friendly. I would recommend this location a thousand times over for anyone looking to stay in the area.”

“The location is only 4 minutes drive to Big Bend which is a big plus for us. We stayed there 4 nights, and the host is responsive and keep the trash in our room cleaned every day. The check in and check out thrue texting is also convenient for us because we check in late and check out early thanks to the smart door lock. The layout is practical and in room appliances (microwave, fridge, hair blower) are also help us staying in there for easy breakfast and dinner. Overall, I recommend this……

“the room is not very large, but, well design, make you feel roomy with microwave and refrigerator.”
