“Great property. Great hostess. Our family of 7 fit just fine. Nice views. Nice deck/porch areas. It’s about 10min to the Plaza in Taos and about 20min to Sipapu ski area, so the location was good for us. Winter weather was not a problem for access in our 2WD van (though, it does have snow tires). Kitchen was sufficient for cooking suppers at night. You can hear the rush of the nearby stream. Definitely a property to book again in the future.”

“There were a few issues during our stay with appliance and electrical but they were resolved very quickly. Everyone was professional and kind during the interaction as well. The cabin itself is amazing perfect for a family get away. The location is perfect close to shops, restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again.”

“Everything about this property was wonderful, the only problem if I was to say, there was a problem would be that when we got there the hot tub was very cloudy and by the second day, it was not looking very good so we didn't get a lot of use out of it.”

“Visited during last week of April/first week of May. Red River was not busy at all and the cabin was a perfect retreat for peace and quiet! Host was receptive to our pets (thank you) and everything was perfect!! Comfortable sleeping arrangements and cabin had everything we needed and more! “Cozy, comfy, and wonderful location in between Taos Ski Valley village and the upper Ski Valley. My children loved the table tennis and darts on the bottom floor, and the loft bedroom. We loved the convenient kitchen, comfortable bed, and windows on the main floor. We hope to visit again!”

“It was larger than we had originally expected. The hot water gets very hot and stayed hot whenever we needed it. The king size bed is quite firm. The pans are not nonstick, so they’re less easy to clean. All the appliances worked as they should. Kitchenware is all there available. It was a nice stay. We did enjoy it.”

“This was a nice, clean and comfortable cabin. Everything that we needed was there. There was even a gingerbread house for the kids to play with when they are tired from the outdoors.”

“As advertised and great communication with owner. The house was very well stocked with everything you need. The ski out wasn't super easy, but we managed to do it! It was nice to be off a green run for those of us who need to get our "sea legs" first. We loved the seclusion of the house and the hot tub was a welcome relief at the end of the day. We did have some issues with the hot tub working, but overall it was a great experience. Highly recommend Mountain Serenity Rentals.”

“Had some heating problems, but were fixed. Fan light in one room was not working correctly. Washer spin cycle did not seem to be working cloths always come out soaked. Cozy nice location clean cabin close to town. As a family we enjoyed our stay.”
