「The property doesn’t have a good AC. They had added portable units to the rooms that don’t cool the room. Had one very bad night not sleeping do to the heat and left the hotel for a cooler/better hotel. We were told we would receive a refund for nights unused but to date that hasn’t happened. Not sure how other rooms are decorated but the Diva room is very worn and tired and in need of a refresh of paint and furnishings. Breakfast was good. It’s made down the road and brought over.」

「Attractive room décor, but false advertisement, obnoxious hostesses, mediocre conditions. My room did not include in-room microwave and fridge as advertised in the Room Details, but the hostesses refused to loan me even an instant hot water/coffee maker. The walkways/stairs are unsafe, the bathroom encourages peeping prowlers and voyeurs, there are bugs and creatures, and yet they told me to go outdoors in the dark to boil my own water. The nourishing and tasty homemade breakfasts fueled us every morning for the bounty of activities within an easy walk (historic sites, art museums, and plenty of libations). The host has amassed her own wonderful collection of stories, things, and recommendations which made this a great home base for our excursions to Chaco Canyon (3.75 hrs) and Ojo Caliente mineral springs (1 hr).
