"We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn Taos, so much so that I decided to write a review, which I rarely do... the room was clean, the breakfast was good, I particularly liked the bacon and the eggs, the coffee was very good... and the staff was overall friendly and responsive/professional.. but there was this maintenance tech (unsure of actual title) named David, probably aged 25.. he was remarkably kind and helpful. Our last day there I was thanking him for his helpfulness when I noticed a man holding the elevator for me which I'd planned to enter. I thanked the man and explained "the maintenance guy, he's so helpful, and his tips made a difference for my family and I with our activities." The man said "Oh yeah, he's great isn't he? Very genuine." I kind of laughed a bit... "Yeah" lol "that" I believe I said. I didn't realize until a few moments later that the man in the elevator was .. the hotel manager..? he was some form of mgt... In either case... having realized I was talking to mgt I got the opportunity to thank him for the environment he and the staff provided us, and "David" in particular. Great stay! Hope to go again!!! "

"We loved having a room with a kiva fireplace! Room was clean and comfortable but we could easily hear the neighbors as they came and went. The bartender makes great cocktails and we enjoyed have a drink and lounging at the bar. Perfect location to walk around the square!"
