“Lovely property with an amazing view of the ocean and surrounding hills, from the fourth floor terrace. Spacious, modern and clean room. Hotel staff were very helpful, and knowledgeable. Walking distance to “Splashes”, an amazing scenic restaurant with delicious choices for all meals. Parking is outsourced to Metropolis, and can be an issue if you wish to come and go. So loved the affordability of a beautiful property in a premier location, quite close to the “Pageant of the Masters”.”

“We recently flew to Laguna Beach from Boise, Idaho to attend the Pageant of the Masters. We were only coming in for a few days, and wanted a smaller place, where we could walk into town and not hassle with a car. I lived in the OC for over 30 years and knew about all the big hotels but wanted something smaller. I stumbled across this lovely little gem while researching places to stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Unlike a big hotel, the towels were lovely and plush; there wasn't any……

“I am very angry about this stay. When I checked in, the door and windows were left open, and the room smelled damp and moldy. The curtain had what looked like blood stains, and the bedsheet had mold spots. Since it was already late and I had a full workday the next day, I reluctantly decided to stay. When I picked up the plastic “Do Not Disturb” sign, I found oil on it, which was disgusting. The room had almost no sound insulation. I could clearly hear the TV from the next room and footsteps in……
