「Living away from the area, we wanted a property that would allow us to bring our whole family together over Christmas, including 12 on Christmas day. Croxton House was the perfect location. 「A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk.」

「We found the hotel to be very well placed for bars and restaurants and in a lovely setting overlooking the marina.The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful.The room was very nice but the bathroom could benefit from an update,however was spotless.very good value for money.would definitely stay again.」
