“Before booking our two rooms for two nights, I called the hotel specifically to ask whether there were any restrictions on pool access. I was told there were none. When we arrived on the Friday evening with time to use the pool, we were informed that children's hours operated differently and we had missed the permitted window. This directly contradicted what we'd been told on the phone. When my wife raised this calmly at reception, pointing out that I had called ahead to ask exactly this……

“The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean. Breakfast was exceptional! The garden beautifully maintained. Would definitely recommend. Location close to the motorway but felt we were miles away.”

“This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.”

“Stunning hotel”

“Great bones, frustrating execution The decor, location and staff at Mollie's were genuinely excellent — the staff in particular were helpful whenever I could actually reach them. Unfortunately, the tech let the whole experience down. The WiFi wasn't working, which meant the TV didn't work either. The Bluetooth-controlled lighting was vague and unintuitive to operate. But the biggest issue was being forced to download an app just to contact room service or the front desk — there was no option……

“Stayed here for 3 nights, no house cleaning, no fresh linen, no fresh towels, hotel does not accept cash, bar closed quite early, very over priced for food, beer, tea or coffee, I was charged £26.60 for 2 very small brioche rolls with rasher and egg and 2 small cappuccinos. Would not recommend and won’t stay again 😡”
