"The worst 4 star hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was okay but the lift wasn’t working. The shower in the morning was lukewarm even when running for over 5 minutes. The tv didn’t properly work as couldn’t view the guide! Avoid!"

"Our hotel stay was lovely staff very friendly and helpful, our room was on the 4th floor very quiet family room, beds very comfortable & pillows lovely sheets room clean good choice on teas coffees & hot chocolate with biscuits and mint chocolate coins. The TV channel choice was really good. Great location 5 mins walk to New street train station also close to getting the tram and close to the library and Symphony hall, and Victoria Square, we went to visit Black Sabbath bench to pay our respects to Ozzy Osbourne. "

"Check in went smoothly and I was happy with that and with the room itself. Upon returning to my room after dinner I tried to turn the television on to no avail. I managed to speak to someone at reception who advised that since the TVs had been ‘framed’ in the gold frame there was a signal problem and that I would need to stand directly in front of the TV to operate it. This worked, but then when I was ready to go to sleep I could not turn the TV off nor could I turn the volume down. To resolve this I had to pull furniture away from the wall in order to turn the TV off at the mains! When I awoke this morning and tried to make my coffee, I found a small bottle of milk in the fridge, but upon pouring the milk into my coffee noticed that the milk had gone off and was totally undrinkable! "

"Clean comfortable rooms and good location within 5 minute walk of grand central. Only knocking a point off due to thin walls between rooms making noise a bit of an issue. Otherwise a pleasant stay "
