「Loved this place. Lots of nice thoughtful touches for visitors, plus access to a lovely living room and garden. My room had a canopied bed which was rather gorgeous. Our host , Greg, was super nice and helpful. Breakfast options were excellent and beautifully presented. I would definitely stay again if up this way」

「What a fantastic place. Comfy bed, fantastic shower and a nice big tv. Plenty tea, coffee, biscs and bottles of water in the room. Added bonus, the breakfast room is set up with same level of refreshments, all day, much appreciated after a walk up from the town in the evening. It said in the write up with Expedia that only a continental breakfast is included, this is not the case, a cooked breakfast is also available. The staff are very friendly and helpful. 「The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs 」

「The room was humid and only one window opened. It was surprising that the room was not cooled down before arrival. The fan provided was small and insufficient for the room size. The carpets smelled like soap and the staff were not accommodating to our needs.」
