“We had a fantastic experience staying at Embassy Suites in San Marcos. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very well maintained, which made for a relaxing and comfortable visit. The staff was consistently friendly, professional, and eager to help, which really elevated the overall experience. “The room smelled terrible and the front receptionist had told me that the cleaning lady had quit so she had to go clean the room. I’m glad she was up front and took initiative but it doesn’t help that once I got to the room it smelled awful. I had a spider crawling on me in bed. I tried to cancel the room for the second night but I couldn’t get ahold of anyone over the phone and lost the money anyways. ”

“They gave me a room and when I went inside the room somebody was already in the room. I had to wait till they clean another room. The room was dirty the floor was sticky it smelled bad. The phone didn’t work. The tv controller didn’t had batteries. There were no towels in the restroom. No soap so I had to go down to the lobby because the phone didn’t work. They told me that they didn’t give out shampoo only soap. ”

“The elevators had no permits in them they had a printed sign on the doors saying 5 persons only at a time. One of the elevators went down twice When I went to check out the front desk girl was on her phone looked up at as if I was bothering her, told her I was checking out handed her the keys she said nothing. So I walked away. ”

“I gave it one star because I had to!!! Don’t stay there!!!! It’s a roach motel. The pool is green, the room smells like cigarettes, the sheets were dirty. The chairs and walls were stained. ”
