This place is conveniently located, 15 min walk to the River Cam, 25 min walk to the center of the college area, with convenient buses as well. Debbie and Nick, the owners, were very helpful, and the apartment is small but has the basics. The small sit out in the garden was nice, the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, we experienced problems as soon as we got there and the owners were out the first 3 days we were there. The property manager Guy seemed unable to help us at all despite continued communication with him. The shower door handle was broken, meaning you actually had to hold the door shut while showering so as not to create a flood in the bathroom. When the owners arrived, they fixed it temporarily for us, but it was 3 days into our visit.The weather was forecast to be very warm (90 degrees F), and we asked Guy before we came whether there was a fan, and we were told by him that there was, but in fact there was not. This incorrect information prevented us from buying a fan on the way before we arrived. I suggested to Nick and Debbie, who are very nice, helpful people, that they need to get various other things fixed (eg lampshade detached, soap tray holder broken, etc). In summary, nice owners, good for a short stay if things are fixed.
