Penthouse 3701 stunning views and service

We just had an amazing stay at Tim's Penthouse 3701. To start, Tim provided excellent service with details on the condo and the surrounding area. We really went into the vacation knowing what we needed to bring, what to expect and what things were available to us. As we arrived, an assigned manager, Francis greeted us. She was amazing. She also cooked a meal for us one night which was absolutely wonderful. As we got to the condos, the views were stunning. We were able to see ocean views from the main living areas and the two masters... all with a wrap around deck. On the back of the deck we also had great views of the bay side. The patio provided many of great memories and photos for all of us. The access to the beach was awesome and beautiful. We were able to use the resort amenities of the pool and the loungers. The loungers were a bit hard, but we were happy to have those available. Tim recommended a couple of restaurants across the street which were wonderful. In addition, he recommended a great transfer service. They were prompt and communicated well. Overall, we had an awesome stay at the condos and appreciate the great service.

Over rated and very disappointing

We stayed in this Condo for a week with my family of 6 adults and 2 children under 5. Although working with Tim and his staff, was a pleasant experience, the Condo was at best a 2 out of 10 ranking. Our Manager Francis and her staff were excellent as chef, house cleaner, and nanny. The condo was surprisingly small compared to the conversation and pictures. The condo was Old and tired looking upon entering. The list of broken items was overwhelming from the Safe in bedroom to the toilet seats, tv's, and many other issues. The biggest problem was the main floor bedroom and bath. These were so Small that it was hard to walk around the bed and fit into the bathroom. And it is situated right by the refrigerator and washer and dryer. This was a problem because you could hear this inside this little bedroom all the time. I cant stress enough how "crappy" this room was with its size and smell of mold. The management called this a "Kid Friendly" place to stay. This is far from the truth. Although there are some amenities for kids, the resort lacked. There is no wading pool for children as advertised and there is Nothing for a young child to do. I would not suggest taking young kids to stay at this condo or resort. When we brought all this to the attention of management, their only answer was that we should have reported all the problems while we stayed at the condo. I didnt feel that it was our job to report all the problems, when they should have made sure this condo was up to the 100% expected. I have stayed in condo's all around the world, this is by far the most unpleasant Condo. I would never suggest anyone stay at this unit at this resort. Randy

The location and communication was excellent.There were a few light and water outages but they were quickly restored.It didnot affect anyone as soon as we needed assistance the property manager was available.The kitchen was fully equipped All recommendations for activities were great but snorkeling took the top prize.They did an excellent job. Property misleading

My husband and I stayed at this condo with another couple. First the positives. The view is outstanding. The bed linens and towels were top notch and the house manager was very available and made us a wonderful meal. The negatives: We were disappointed with the overall condition of the property. Our assumptions were that given the fact it was a penthouse suite in a “renovated resort complex” , with a high rental price that it would be in better condition. The photos are also misleading. The fact is, it is an older unit that has not been renovated. It is dated and tired. Many things were broken or in need of repair or replacing. The furniture is older, dinged and scratched. One of the smaller bedrooms smelled of mildew/mold. The whole place needed to be cleaned again. We brought this to the owners attention and he did instruct his manager to address some of the problems. Our intention in writing this review is to warn future renters. The owner did say that he has scheduled the unit to be painted in March 2020 but honestly the whole condo needs a makeover. Also, be aware that this privately owned condo is not a part of the All Inclusive resort. You can not so much as buy a drink or get a meal on the premises unless you opt in for the all inclusive price.

Francis is amazing

Francis who manages the property was amazing, her home cooking is amazing!! She was on speed dial and was available whenever we needed her. She had the best tips to help my party. The property is a lot smaller than it appears on the website however we were a party of 7. The air conditioning really didn’t keep the master bedroom cool. It was clean and the resort is nice. Don’t waste time on all inclusive Francis is better than any restaurant.

Beautiful Space!

The condo was spacious, clean and had an amazing view to the beach! We rented the place for 7 girls to celebrate my 40th birthday and had an absolute blast! The manager was very friendly and helpful. The location of the resort was great, especially since the beach and pool area weren't too crowded. The bus was a cheap and convenient way of getting around Cancun Hotel Zone and Center. We absolutely loved the place and will be back!

Big Family, No problem......

I was looking for place to take my family of 7. Then from 7 it when to 11!!! Planning a trip with this many people is not easy. Specially if you are going to Cancun. But let me tell you, the place is amazing if you go for what you go for, A VACATION WITH YOUR FAMILY. This places has it all. When we arrived in late July the owner mentioned that remodeling was going on at the time, but we didn't care at all. Once we got introduced to the property it was paradise, the views are amazing and relaxing. We watch sunsets go up and go down. This place is spacious, relaxing, cozy and has all what you need. And if you need something or have any questions the manager at this place is on 24/7. She is a nice lady and rapidly made us feel like home. We love it!!!!!!!!!

Yamalkan penthouse 371

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Yamalkan penthouse 371. The only issue I had was that the elevator went out my first day and the remodeling of the hotel scared me at first sight but as soon ask was welcomed to my unit the anxiety went away. The unit looked exactly the same as it did in the photos. The views were amazing and so were the finishes I call it Mexican modern. The owner provided everything from a high chair to beach equipment. There was also enough pots, plans, and plates to cook dinner for your family. I would recommend the suite to anyone traveling with a 4-10 people. There is enough room to accommodate everyone. Working with Tim and Francis was the cherry on top. They provided excellent customer service to myself and my guest. They promptly returned every email and call. Very professional management. Everything that Tim recommended for the trip was also an excellent choice especially the tasty food across the street at 19.5km restaurant. I visit Mexico once a year but this was by far the most fun and exciting trip I had ever taken. Sharing my 30th birthday with a group of friends at the yamalkan was the best and most rewarding idea. Thank you Tim and Francis for being as accommodating as you could. As I stated at this moment there are renovations going on at the hotel but with the hospitality and excellent condition of the penthouses you will barely notice a thing. Thanks for making the experience unforgettable.
