“This was a really cool non-cookie cutter historic place to stay. Bummer the restaurant was closed during our Tuesday-Wednesday stay but the two pools were great and the kids play area. My daughter was especially excited about the complimentary marshmallow roasting around the firepit. Our room was very clean and comfortable in the main building. The town was super cute.”

“Most was OK but the owner never responded to my reply's to a welcoming E-Mail from the property thru the Expedia site so I then sent a. E-Mail directly to the property requesting an early check in. When we got there he seemed very aggravated that we showed up early and told us to come back at 3:00. I’m handicapped and travel is not the easiest. I told him about my attempts to contact the property and he appeared to be checking his E-Mail. He clearly found it because he gave us the paperwork……

“Overall we liked our stay, we have stayed here a few times. I wasn’t happy that we didn’t get a balcony room which is what we paid for and also when we checked in and was in our room for a little bit, a maid came opened up our front door and saw me and said “ oh sorry “ and closed the door! We didn’t ask for service nor did she knock.”

“The hotel smelled musty or I guess like a ski lodge. When we got to the room, there was no trash can or shower curtain. When I asked for shower curtain the next morning, they did bring us a new one but didnt take any of our pizza boxes or trash out of the room. When I asked about it, they said we have to ask our room to be cleaned, even though we put the sign on the door to have our room cleaned. We had two queen beds and my side of the bed dropped off and was kind of uncomfortable. The pool was……

“The food here is very good. The staff is very friendly easy to get teatime for golfing beautiful flowers on the property for an historic hotel is nicely maintained.”

“Breakfast is charged separately, with limited variety and high price. There is a water bar on each floor that provides drinks and snacks, but it will be charged at USD 35 per day in the room rate. In short, it is not cost-effective.”

“The front desk staff was extremely friendly and even recommended nearby souvenir shops and an amazing breakfast spot. I would give them a perfect score for their service. The hotel is converted from an old elementary school, which gives it a unique character. However, the bathroom is a bit small, with a sink that seems sized for elementary school students, making it easy to splash water everywhere. The bed appears to have dust mites, as my allergies acted up shortly after lying down, though it……
