「Room was satisfactory. Folks at the front desk were terrific! Friday’s breakfast left something to be desired; the coffee was especially questionable. Saturday’s breakfast was much better. I still did not drink the coffee, though.」

「I have stayed here so many times I am absolutely amazed at the consistency of how clean and well-maintained everything is. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The location is fabulous. I can’t say enough about the staff, they are so friendly and helpful.」

「Inside pool was cold. Hot tub had foam on top that gathered scum. Shower dripped. Fixtures needed updating. Drain was plugged. Seemed like the maintenance person was fired or on strike. Breakfast was good. People were friendly and accommodating.」

「We enjoyed our overnight at Lamie's. We stayed in the older section and the brick wall and 4 poster beds added a homey, authentic feel to the vibe of the Old Salt Tavern next door. Beds comfortable, room clean. The rooms & bathroom are a little small but perfect if your plan doesn;t include spending lots of time in your room. We came to visit friends in the area and had lunch and dinner at the Old Salt which was really convenient to just come downstairs rather than having to drive somewhere...

「The location of this property was great, on the perimeter of downtown Portsmouth which is a wonderful little city. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, both for good selection and the taste. My biggest complaint is that it was very noisy in my room. The AC unit is the loudest I've ever heard. A few times I thought it was a nearby train when it started running. Also the people in the room above me woke me up at 1 AM doing something. I didn't hear voices...

「The staff were extremely friendly. The room was standard with the layout being unique. All and all a typical hotel room for this price point However......Then came the shower I went to take a shower the morning of our stay. There was handle to control the water to the shower. The handle to the water control was on the side of the shower, placed where the soap was supposed to be. I got dressed. I go downstairs to the lobby, with the handle in hand.
