"The hotel is classic Italian with modern upgrades. Very friendly and accommodating staff in a garden setting with a pool. Walking distance to the hot springs. Very warm weather during the visit and the in room air conditioning had a hard time keeping up. Cooler nights allowed the windows to be open with the relaxing sounds of nature."

"We can definitely recommend this property! The pool is amazing as well as the garden and restaurant. I was little bit disappointed of the room - it could be better clean up and the furniture could be in better condition. However we would definitely come back. "

"Difficult to find, as only the name of the adjacent hotel, San Ruffino Resort, appears on the sign at the shared driveway. Room decor is in serious need of an upgrade (weird 70’s vibe and a lot of dangling wires) and the kitchenette and bathroom are rudimentary. Landscaping is dreary. Breakfast was basic and seemed like most items came from a supermarket. Helpful and friendly staff and the San Ruffino rResort pool (which Il Poggia guests can use) was pleasant, as were the grounds of the Resort."

The room was basic but clean. Bed linen was changed regularly, the whole room was typically Tuscan, with wooden shutters at the window to keep out the sun (no air conditioning or anything as modern as that!). The bathroom was large and clean, with plumbing that took some getting used to, but was more than...

"Siamo stati accolti con calore e cortesia, i proprietari si sono prodigati per farci sentire a nostro agio, e nonostante il brutto tempo ci hanno dato spunti per trascorrere un piacevole soggiorno. il parco è ben curato e la piscina è posta in una zona sopraelevata in mezzo al verde. È stato piacevole vedere le lucciole nel loro bosco. Buona la colazione, preparata con cura, arricchita dalla delicatezza dei fiori del giardino sui tavoli."
