"We stayed 2 nights at this hotel because it was close to Yosemite and YARTS pickup was right outside our door. Across the street is the Merced River. The hotel was okay, beds were slightly uncomfortable but it was clean and had a fridge. There’s a restaurant, pool and little store onsite. Slightly overpriced, but the location and amenities make up for it. "

"Room was clean. It is a short walk into the downtown space, some properties are closer to downtown, but this is still very convenient. We used it as an overnight stop coming from LA before going into Yosemite the next morning and it was good for that. Breakfast provided was fine."

"The Mariposa Lodge is quiet, safe, and has friendly and helpful staff. It is on the edge of a very, very small downtown area. The town population is only about 1500 people as far as I can estimate. So if you are expecting lots of fancy shopping and restaurants, you are not in the right place. But if you want to stay in a quaint, outdoorsy place with about 20 small shops and restaurants on the way to the West gate of Yosemite, then this is the place for you and your family."

"Cute glamp ground. Pricey - but worth it if this is what you’re into. Not much to do in the actual campground. They have a small pool. I would recommend this if you need a place to stay while going inside Yosemite and you can afford the hefty price tag. "
