"Our recent stay at the RIU Peninsula was truly memorable, thanks to the outstanding service from the staff. Kevin went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration extra special. His professionalism, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail reflect the high standards of the RIU brand. He truly exemplifies leadership and exceptional customer service. In addition, I absolutely must acknowledge Alex, who never fails to greet us at the hotel lobby with a warm smile and the kind words: "Welcome home - welcome back." Seeing Alex at the entrance during each of our visits has become a signature experience for us — a true hallmark of the RIU Peninsula. His warm welcome sets the tone for every stay, and he consistently raises the bar for customer service. Another team member who made a lasting impression was Luis from the buffet restaurant. He turned our morning breakfasts into a delightful experience. Always attentive, he ensured my wife had her cappuccino just the way she likes it. Despite being busy, Luis made us feel like we were his top priority. His hard work and warm service are greatly appreciated. On a constructive note, we did feel that the check-in experience could be improved. This was our fifth stay at the RIU Peninsula, and while we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary, the staff member who checked us in didn't acknowledge the occasion or extend the warm welcome we've come to expect. Overall, we remain loyal to the RIU Peninsula . "

"The hotel is beautiful and rooms are updated and clean. Staff on point with everything. We loved that it was adults only. The only thing I didn’t like is the check in process seemed rushed. They didn’t honor the room upgrade perk although I’m assuming they didn’t have too. We got a few coupons which was like 20 and 40 dollars off of certain things if we choose to buy. Also 50 dollars extra if we wanted to stay on the VIP portion of the hotel. I thought this was what the Expedia perk would’ve covered but it didn’t.. All in all it was a good stay and we do recommend the hotel. "
