The hotel staff were very helpful, the property was and rooms were very clean and the food was plentiful and excellent. The only downside was the beach, it was small and lots of boat traffic. Would definitely recommend this resort for families and large groups.

Most of the front desk staff were unable to assist me with even the most basic requests, which made the entire stay far more frustrating than it should have been. Simple questions either took forever to get answered or were ignored altogether, and there was zero coordination between team members. It honestly felt like no one knew what was going on and I was left to deal with everything myself. Check-in set the tone immediately. I presented my driver’s license as proof of ID, which is standard anywhere, and it was denied without any clear explanation. That shouldn’t even be an issue, yet it turned into one and created unnecessary frustration right from the start. I made a birthday request at check-in since the celebration was the very next day. I was told it would take 24 hours, which was already pushing it, but it ended up taking 72 hours, making it completely useless. The next day, I had to leave the hotel myself to buy birthday items because it was obvious the staff wasn’t going to follow through. The room conditions were unacceptable. The shower head was broken, the bathroom fan didn’t work, the mini fridge was leaking water, and the TV was never connected to WiFi. These are basic things that should have been checked before I even walked in. The food was average and I even got sick once, which says enough. The only people who actually did their job well were the servers and bartenders. Pool activities and beach kayaks were great, but overall the experience was a mess

I am more than happy to give a review for this resort! It is a beautiful place, rooms are clean the service was superb and the staff super friendly. Good food, unlimited drinks, and great taste overall. I really enjoyed the Albatros Buffet and Mexican Lindo—they both had delicious options and a welcoming atmosphere. However, I didn’t like the Claraboya Seafood Restaurant. The seafood quality wasn’t good, and the experience was disappointing. We celebrated my baby’s first birthday there, but the staff didn’t make any effort to acknowledge it—not even a simple clap or greeting. They also seemed unfriendly during service. In contrast, when we celebrated my sister’s birthday at Mexican Lindo, it was a completely different experience. The staff went the extra mile—they even turned off the lights, lit the candles, and sang “Happy Birthday” with us. That made the celebration feel special and memorable.

We chose this place because we needed something good enough, on a budget, and last minute. This place was smaller than what I thought it would be, but that turned out to be good. I've gone to other large resorts and it gets a little tiring having to walk far to have dinner or needing a shuttle. They have one medium sized pool which was surprisingly warm. The beach area was very small, but it was clean. They have a sauna and steam room which were really nice. Their hot tub was unfortunately small and cold. The room was clean, air conditioning worked well, bed was comfortable, and staff were great! We enjoyed the meals at the Mexican and Italian restaurants. They surprised us with a bottle of champagne, cake, and decorations in our room for my husband's birthday. The food at the buffet was mixed. I was not a big fan of breakfast, but lunch and dinner had some amazing options. They change the menu every day and the asian food was delicious! I'm glad we stayed here. We had a great time and the staff were very thoughtful.

We enjoyed our stay at hotel. The ocean view room was incredible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, be weary of the staff that are trying to book you to see the other sister hotel. That is just a sales gimmick. Unfortunately you have to book dinner with those sales staff if you want reservations for dinner at their restaurants aside from their buffet restaurant. I also must say that their mixed drinks are lacking. The syrups and mixes they use for their cocktails are very low quality. All their cocktails taste the same, because of this.

Food was very decent all the time ,wish they had more beef options. Also more mexican options at their buffet. Love they had things like ceviche and salad varieties. Loved the bar it had a lot of good quality alcohol. Personal was great,kind an very attentive all the time. Hotel is not big. Do not expect a big beach or many walking areas although it had everything you need.

We ended up booking a stay at another resort shortly after we arrived here. The description of the resort was misleading. This place is more like a hotel with a pool. Staff was unfriendly. The room was the only nice thing we encountered .
