We just got back from our trip from Cancun. We stayed at the grand oasis we book through Expedia soon as we arrive thinking it will be all inclusive it wasn’t we got a blue bracelet that limited us to mostly everything at the resort the front desk asked us if we wanted to upgrade to the black bracelet for a couple hundreds will never book again at this hotel or Expedia

I’m very disappointed in this resort!!! Staff is very rude and disrespectful, no help at all, very unprofessional since the moment I arrived. The food was horrible, all the restaurants share the same food, there were bugs on the food, drinks where also very flavorless servers were stingy with the food. It is not all inclusive. More than half the restaurants/bars charged extra. I was looking forward to the club they had in the resort, only to find out it was closed, the faucet in my room only had hot water, there were roaches and spiders the sliding curtains were broken in my room. When I exchanged my beach towels the staff was impolite. I was told over the phone before arriving that I could check in early, and when I arrived they did not let me, so I had to wait around for 5 hours with my 3 infants, they were tired hungry and hot. Mazatlan had way better service than this place!! Stay away from this place!!!

No issue with the room. The staff was average I wouldn’t say above and beyond, but they were not rude by any means. Amenities were non existent there is no casino or nightclub. Overall the biggest issue I had with this place was the food. Truly the worst food experience I have ever had, nothing at the resort was good. Even the non-buffet restaurants were terrible. I felt nauseous eating any of the food.

The room was beautiful obviously the hotel is decades old so some wear and tear is expected but it was been well maintained and updated very nicely in many cases! The staff are like a big familyband very helpful the resort is hige which is why it is able to offer so much to its guest!

Problems... I ordered 2 beds, only got 1. (Awkward) was told they would relocate me the following nights but never did. Line ups for drinks and snacks 20 people deep :( not even good snacks. Beautiful hotel, great location.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this resort was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. The check-in process was chaotic and disorganized, with long waits and staff that seemed overwhelmed and uninterested in helping. After traveling all day, the last thing you want is to stand in line for over an hour just to get a room key. The first room we were given was really bad. It was outdated, poorly maintained, and not very clean. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell, the air conditioning barely worked, and the overall condition of the room was far from what was advertised. Because it was so unacceptable, we had to ask for a different room — and the only option they gave us was to pay a very expensive upgrade, which we felt forced to do just to have a decent place to stay. For the price we paid — especially after having to pay extra just to get a better room — we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations at all.

I went to this room as a vacation for the first time with my fiancé. I looked online at reviews of the food as that it was something that was very crucial important to us and was met with really good reviews. Once we got there for the food seemed to be inedible and only cooked to the minor temperature of culinary standard as we went through the resort we found an à la carte where I ordered a burger since the fajitas and tacos were very stiff and stale, and I was met with a raw burger in which I did not eat that night because it already was very much pass of 11 o’clock once we were done the meal after this experience I no longer ate the food as the buffet food I’ll tasted the same nauseating seasoning and once I decided to eat again, I only ate a piece of baguette bread which led me to have severe food poisoning, which caused me to be hospitalized and have heart issues upon arrival back to Canada. I am very upset that for my first vacation it ended up being such a disappointment and I hope to stop others from making the same mistake.

The food is terribe especially the buffett, unless you upgrade to the black wrist band. I was booked to one king size bed after I had exclusively requested double beds because I was sharing a room with my brother in law. The place is noisy full of college students. I won't recomend this to anyone.

For the price range it was everything we expected especially for College Spring Break week. Ground swell kept and pools clean and staff kept up on the long lines at bars near the pools were everyone were. The daily afternoon pool parties kept it lively and offered entertainment which was what we were looking for on the resort grounds instead of having to find entertainment off. Always felt safe even after the USA social media trying to scare everyone to visit Mexico 🇲🇽 Live your Best Life and Thank you for a Wonderful vacation 👌

We bought the “All Inclusive” which turned out not to be unless you upgraded to the highest level, which was a significant increase in cost. Our All-Inclusive gave you access to about a third of the bars and restaurants, which we should have been made aware of upfront. The staff was great, very helpful, and friendly. The Emergency 24-hour medical folks never answered their door when we rang the bell and knocked. Had a significant laceration and couldn’t get it taken care of. The food was so-so and one of us got food poisoning from an outdoor grill location. One of two very small elevators didn’t work in our building and we were on the 6th floor, to say we got our steps in is an understatement. We won’t be back.

Drinks were not good. Not sure where the “vodka” comes from lol. And a lot of annoying LOUD kids (teenagers). Super annoying. In fairness was spring break (didnt do my research). But my 5 year old behaved better. Koodos to the kids and their parents who were well behaved though! Overall okay for the price and food was great as well. Also not enough lounge chairs and pretty much none on the actual beach. Waves were way too much/ strong for a child to swim in
