Best Western Alexandria Inn

"The first rooms we were shown had a strong musty smell, but the staff responded immediately, and we were given other rooms. The rooms were clean. We liked this area too - with restaurants and a Walmart right there. For a one-night stop on a cross-country road trip, this is as good as it gets. The breakfast is fantastic. We liked the yogurt machine and the pancake machine especially. This breakfast exceeds what I have received in higher end hotels. The staff is great. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"The pool was amazing, but the rules about 8 and under and 14 and under not using the slide and hot tub are a bit ridiculous. It should be left to the parents to decide if their children are old enough to go on these, since there is not a lifeguard present. Im sure its not really monitored, tho. The hot breakfast was nice but the bacon could be cooked longer."

"I stayed here with my sons after a long day at Valley Fair. I needed connecting rooms for the 2 rooms I reserved and my request was met immediately. The rooms were extremely clean and updated with very modern choices. The lobby is welcoming with snacks and drinks (for purchase) and Vogue magazines on the side tables for reading. I didn’t have the breakfast but the area was very clean as well. I would definitely stay here again after a trip to Valley Fair. This was a very nice hotel."
