「We could not have had a better week!!! The cottage was quite possibly the best we’ve ever stayed in. So clean and had everything we could need. Even on the warmer days we were never uncomfortable, it gets a great breeze! The porch is heavenly, as is the view from the upstairs master. 「My mother and I rented this cottage to attend my niece’s wedding in Westbrook on June 20. We couldn’t have been more happy from the minute we walked in. There was a lovely banana bread waiting for us and the home was immaculate. I love the magnetic doorstop by the back deck, which allowed for a wonderful air flow throughout the house. 「I’m normally not one to leave reviews but I had to for The Carriage House! Everything from the homey, relaxing feel to the great views was amazing! My friends and I wanted to extend our stay lol. We’re already planning another stay here for a summer trip! Also appreciated the host’s friendliness and ensuring we had an enjoyable experience. 10/10」

「The location was superb - the house was pretty well stocked - would just recommend some decent kitchen knives and a blanket for each room as it got pretty chilly. Overall a great rental property - would definitely rent it again!」

"As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times. The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill. The drain of the tub is only half-working. When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued. AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts. Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30. Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up. Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!! By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
