“The hotel was very nice and the location was excellent. Was able to walk to many locations. Noise wasn't bad for a city experience. Hotel restaurant was very good.”

“The hotel is exceptionally located....close to Magnificent Mile as well as Oak Street Beach. It had a good gym as well. The rooms were spacious and clean. The views were absolutely amazing and we loved our visit! The proximity to the beach led us to spend more time there than originally planned! Only downside was the construction on the parking garage which had us looking around for parking last minute.”

“The staff are very enthusiastic, and both the bar and the restaurant are quite good. However, the sound insulation of the windows is very poor, so the sound of the subway outside is very clear. Additionally, the noise from the heating in the room is also quite loud. ”

“I had a great experience at Ivy Boutique Hotel on a previous visit, but this time was a complete letdown. The heating was broken in freezing 0-degree Chicago weather, making the room unbearably cold. To make matters worse, there was no liner between the sheets, which felt unhygienic and uncomfortable. It’s clear that the quality has decreased significantly, and the attention to detail is lacking. For the price, I expected much better. Won’t be returning.”

“Check-in and check-out was smooth. Rooms offered espresso, but not have a kettle for heating water for tea, but upon request, the concierge sent up a large kettle asap. The staff was friendly and responsive. The area around the hotel was fantastic to walk. It was also pretty close to a primary bus line that we could take to soldier field for a concert, as well as Montrose Beach the following day. This makes getting around Chicago so much nicer than driving it!”

“Nice smallish, comfortable, downtown hotel. Well placed for access to Chicago assets. (Only 2 elevators, one didn't work). ”
