“This place was very worn down and had damage. There was only a half roll of toilet paper and no extra. The soap was like a little piece of cardboard. The shower curtain was filthy with evidence of something all over it on the inside, yuck. The door lock was like a bathroom door lock on the inside so I pushed heavy furniture against the door for the night. Outside the door was the small parking lot that had dumpsters and junk around. This all being said, the woman who checked me in was so lovely……

“The hair dryer literally started to smoke red hot when I turned it on and the bathroom was a bit dingey (ie. gross shower curtain and stained tub). However, for the price it was still a comfortable stay”

“clean room”

“Bad”

“Very nasty room, the health dept should pay a visit. For a non refundable property there needs to be some standard of sanitation. The place is geared towards certain activities. Scary and nasty. We didn’t even go past the front door. Took one look and we left.”

“Good location, very close to Collingwood and beach. The room facility is simple but very clean. We will visit again.”

“Typical Motel, you get what you pay for.”

“Great getaway”

“This property is used for contractors working in the immediate region. Furniture is extremely bad but the bed was comfortable. The property is NOT as pictured on your website. I would not recommend to anyone. The cost of $100 is way overpriced. Wlll not stay there again.”

“Thank you for the truly wonderful stay at the Mermaid. Local charm, although in the process of updating - the rooms are beautiful and well kept. Bonfire on site with a close walk to beach 5. We also got the pleasure of meeting the owner and had a wonderful chat, thanks for all the accommodations and making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks again!”
