“Our stay was so incredibly nice! The location was perfect! We were right on the river and you could hear the river from the master bedroom (it was so nice to sleep to that sound!). We also loved how you felt so in nature, but only 6 minutes from town so it was super convenient! The owners put so much thought into little details that made us feel welcome immediately (like a little smores kit and Halloween candy (since we showed up right after Halloween so it was super cute)). “Before staying here, I was under the impression that Wyndham was a premium brand. After staying here, I sincerely doubt this. I have stayed in nicer Motel 6s. There were broken and hastily repaired walls in my room, missing fixtures, yellowing and out of date light fixtures and no electrical sockets within easy reach of the bed. The staff seemed friendly, however, there appeared to be somebody who was related to one of the staff members who spent his entire day sitting in the hotel lobby playing……

“The staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy. The resort is beautiful. Cabins are not on top of each other. It is convenient having the restaurants on the property and we appreciated breakfast being included in the price. We stayed in Cabin 12. The hot tub was wonderful, the cabin was nice, but we were disappointed in a few things. The price is quite high for the cabin, and we expect things to work.
