“We stayed in a Garden View room. On our first night around 10 PM, the AC began leaking in our room in Building 5, and we had to be transferred to Building 4. It was frustrating having to walk back, pack everything up, and switch rooms that late at night. A bellhop to assist us immediately would have been appreciated, and I was hoping the resort might offer some type of upgrade or gesture for the inconvenience, but that wasn’t provided. “Rooms weren't super clean,noticeable marks on walls ,mirrors ect. The whole resort needed repairs and upkeep,pool tiles falling off,infinity pool not running,broken concrete,we ended up having to change rooms after 4 days we woke up to a leaking roof! The tub on our deck wouldn't stay full and the pump cover was open,deck blinds were broken, we had problems with the tv's in both rooms. “The room was amazing at Palafitos Over the Water Bungalows! A little pricey, wish it was less m, but we were celebrating our 30th year anniversary and wanted to make sure it was top notch and we definitely received top notch service and we definitely had that and more! The room was immaculate! Staff were extremely friendly and attentive! The yoga and stretching were peaceful and timely! Food was a la carte which helped in not overeating! “Our stay at SOTA was nothing short of amazing. The drive to the retreat was not too out of reach, and made sense, as we were in the jungle of Puerto Morelos. We arrived a little later than expected, but greeted upon arrival at the gate by the staff. We were helped with our luggage to our stay, and we were stunned at every step! In our unit, there were fresh fruits waiting for us on the table. Our room was surrounded by glass looking out into the jungle, and every room had access to opening……

“We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride……

“Beautiful property, helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms. We had an amazing experience at El Dorado Maroma. The property was gorgeous- well maintained and so many beautiful plants and flowers. The staff was so helpful and kind and most of them spoke English well which we really appreciated. The restaurants were all al a carte- so you order off a menu instead of a buffet. This makes meals move a bit slower but that forces you to relax and take in the scenery. The restaurant staff were all……
