"The hotel has been declining in recent years but the new management is working to make things better and they are doing a great job. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was an enjoyable experience and we will stay here again. "

"The room and common area was very clean and attractive. But breakfast was a big disapp ointment. Maybe they ran out of bacon or sausage but it wasn't refilled so all of this left and 8:30 was waffles cereal and scrambled eggs."

"Dee was the most gracious owner and manager of the motel. Said to call her if we needed anything and was very helpful overall. Bed was clean and comfortable. Even though the rooms could use an updating, it was clean and served the purpose of a good sleep. "

We appreciated this awesome place to enjoy time together as a family and to make a short drive over to Hawn State Park which is also amazing! "We were celebrating a 50th birthday and a ladies reunion with life long friends. The location was perfect! Cell service and internet are spotty which made for a perfect unplugged get away. I wish the hot tub had been a little more secure to get in and out of...but at our ages we are extra careful lol Hoping to make this an annual trip! Just watch out for the walnuts!!! Lol"
