「Stayed in a room that hosted me and two friends. The location to check-in was close to the apartment and walkable. There are a lot of cute shops and restaurants that are walkable from this location. Communication through WhatsApp was very smooth with the host. There is an elevator so you don’t have to only rely on stairs to bring your luggage upstairs. All in all a good stay! 」

「Incredible hotel! The staff is amazing. So friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The grounds, rooms, and views are stunning. The sea pool is beyond and the diving boards are so much fun. We brought our 8 month old and they provided a crib, stuffed animal, and adorable backpack. The staff was also very sweet with the baby and offered a high chair at every meal. 「Awesome stay! Very friendly and professional staff from the room cleaning staff and throughout the hotel. Always felt welcomed and staff happy to serve/help in anyway. Ocean view and pools below...great vista. Unfortunately, a little noisy in late hours 2200-2330h a few nights from a particular bar off the hotel grounds but...we travel with ear plugs. Loved our room... luxury. Room service prompt. 」

「Todo excelente, buena ubicación, en una zona tranquila a unos 10-15 minutos caminando del centro, hay parada de autobús frente al hotel. Muy bueno el desayuno, habitación y baño muy limpios, amplios y cómodos. Todo el personal muy amable, en especial Nuno muy paciente y atento. Muchas gracias!」

「What can I say? This property was 10 out of 10 coming from New York we loved everything about it with the balcony facing room of the water. Staff were super friendly. Food was good when everything in the area was closed down and my massage with Maria was out of this world book your spot ahead of time because it sells out very quickly. 「Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt auf Madeira. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, sodass man vieles bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. 「Terrace Mar is a wonderful place in a great location. The bed was super comfortable, kitchen was functional and having a balcony was great. Breakfast buffet was superb. Staff were very friendly. The rooftop pool was great with awesome views of Funchal. It was one of our favourite places to stay. Highly recommended 」

Das einzige was mich ein wenig enttäuscht hatte war, dass wir extra ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht hatten, aber jedoch von unserem Zimmer hauptsächlich auf eine große Baustelle und die Stadt gesehen hatten. Erst irgendwo hinter dem Gebäudejungle und auch nur wenn man auf den Balkon hinaus ging konnte man das Meer dann sehen.」
