“This is a basic hotel. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the staff is nice. The pool is small with only four lounge chairs. You will need to walk to get to the beach - this hotel has a dock only. ”

“While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again.”

“The only thing we didn't like about our stay was the DJ at the pool twice in our week playing female degrading vile rap music while young drunk girls were rockin' it making a scene in the pool. Thought we were in Cancun! Won't prevent us from coming back but if we see that crap, we head back to the beach or elsewhere.”

“Lotus: Clean rooms. Front desk is very informative. Taxi service is usually readily available right outside Lotus. They also have their own golf carts to rent. Spa treatment was great. Guru restaurant food at lotus was great (two plates we ordered ceviche and the black angus burger with truffle fries - best truffle fries I’ve had anywhere, ask for the habanero hot sauce it’s delicious) although they close the beach access from lotus relatively early in the evening you still have access to it……

“My family and I loved our stay at the hotel. We spent most of our time at the pool which was big not over crowded. The staff was courteous and helpful whenever we asked for help with anything. Rooms were nice and cold.”

“Loved riding over on the boat! Beautiful resort and great rooms. Service was wonderful in restaurants, honestly wasn’t impressed with gal in coffee shop. She seemed put out when getting your coffee and nobody was ever in there. Very very quiet… no beach walking unfortunately. Food was outstanding in my opinion.”

“Hidden gym. Very clean, well maintained hotel. Desk staff was helpful.and friendly. We had a room facing the back of the hotel so no problem with noise. Room had strong WiFi and air conditioning. The shower had cool water but no hot water. Bed mattess was firm but not uncomfortable. ”

“The mint was a good deal for the price. The staff was friendly, the room was clean. The only thing that would make me not choose to stay there again would be the lack of hot water in the showers. Some people said to let it run for a while and it would get hot, but that never happened in my room. Besides for that it was a great stay.”
