「Was looking for a 3 day weekend getaway to celebrate my adult daughter’s birthday. We wanted to be close to Cacapon State Park for hiking. Also needed a dog friendly place. This place checked all the boxes. We slept in 2 of the 3 bedrooms and both beds were comfy. The house was both rustic with all of the wood interior as well as cute. 「We had the perfect relaxing getaway. The fireplace was amazing, kitchen had everything you need and the view from the deck was great for watching the eagles. There is plenty of room to spread out. A highlight for us was the steam shower!!! We will be back.」

「We really enjoyed Whiskey Acres! The host left us an adorable welcome basket- even included the pup. The home is private, you can only see one other residence and there is a little creek that the pup loved romping in. The outdoor activities were a blast. Note for folks looking to book the home, there is one bathroom which is only accessible through the large bedroom. This could be awkward for some. 」

「We LOVED staying at this property. It is modernly decorated, yet still cozy. The location is private and quiet just as we wanted. I loved being able to spend most of my time outside either on the swing, fire pit, or relaxing in the tub. The driveway is a bit rough, so I’m glad we did have my truck. I would not have liked to go up in my previous vehicle that was lower to the ground. Communication with the host Ben was prompt and clear.
