“Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We really liked the layout and the location. There were a few issues however. When we first arrived it was cold because they don't have a thermostat to control the heat. It took a little while before the floor board heaters heated up the house. The issue could have been resolved with the pellet stove however it wasn't available at the time we stayed there. Presumably it does broken. “We were very dissapointed. From the outside, the screened in porch needs repaired, holes everywhere, leaves and old cobwebs had not been swept out, chairs were filthy. Hot tub was dirty with dirt/sand in the bottom of it so we didnt get to use it. From the inside, kitchen counter looked clean until we wiped it off, stove and microwave were greasy. “Nice location. Front storm door was missing a window. Turning on the heat was difficult as you had to get down on the floor to turn on, adjust temp and turn off the heat register which took awhile to find the dials. And had to use a flashlight to find. Difficult for anybody with a disability as for me I have back problems. Stairs to upstairs sleeping area were very narrow and I felt unsafe. “Could be a very nice home on the lake if more care was taken. Sort of a hodge-podge place with pieces of plooring missing, cabinets without handles, lots of cobwebs and a bit dirty overall. The bathroom was not good, the toilet water was brown and the water came out as a trickle in the sink. Bathroom needs a thorough clean.
