「This is a magical cottage. It exceeded our expectation on charm, grounds, and convenience to downtown Middleburg. Tim, our host, was very accessible and thought of all of our needs. My husband and I will definitely be back but if you want a wonderful, historic experience with all of the modern amenities, look no further. Absolutely beautiful!」

While in the area, we visited Skyline Caverns and the Shenandoah River. I did have a challenging time getting Door Dash to the house. After 30 minutes of seeing the driver in the neighborhood we got in the car to track down the driver. Her cell service was poor so we were unable to communicate. If I ordered...

「With bedrooms and sitting rooms on 3 floors, our 3-generation family enjoyed having space to gather together as well as space for time apart. The decks allowed for additional places to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Lake access was great for swimming and kayaking.」

「Perfect spot for a girls weekend. Plenty of space to sleep, without feeling like the rooms were crowded. All of the beds were comfortable, not a bad spot in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, so we were able to bring groceries and cook for most meals. It was even stocked with whole beans from a local coffee shop and a grinder- a great touch that we thoroughly enjoyed! The hot tub, fire pit, and the view are killer.It’s a quick 15-20min into Harper’s Ferry or over to Hillsboro...
