"We really like this place, this was our second time staying and it may be our preferred place to stay at Ocean Shores. We love that it is pet friendly and we like the canoe rentals. While the rooms are older we like the cozy home like feel but if you are not able to manipulate the tight spiral staircase to the bedroom or tight bathroom spaces it would be a challenging place to stay."

"We had a great time here! Very clean and homey vibes. More private and spacious than a hotel. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. They had the most adorable bunnies running around the property during our stay. The host was very sweet and friendly. The beach was beautiful and only a short walk through the grass. Just a heads up that if you can’t get the sauna working to click the nob twice to the right and then once back to the left. Ocean shores is only about 10 minutes away and the drive is beautiful!"

"My first issues arose with communications from VRBO. I did not have a unit number and the door code was just something made up. Had it not been for the amazing onsite personnel I would not have been able to stay and would have had to seek other lodging. The unit was ok, the place could be just amazing if some love was given to the property. It was.The bridge you have to cross a little canal to access the beach is a safety hazard. if you have young children or elderly persons, use EXTREME caution. I have pictures.If you have AT@T cell phone service you probably won't get service there, and the internet which is free is pretty weak. I had to drive up the road a couple of times to get cell service. Not sure about other carriers. Check the refrigerator. I bought and brought food and put everything in the fridge, I checked and adjusted it. Finally checked and it was unplugged. Very limited kitchen amenities. Take everything you think you will need plus coffee filters. I would stay there again, except for the logging truck cranking up at 0230 every morning it is quiet. "

"Couch falling apart at the arm. Dining room chairs very dirty. Sink in lower bath drains really slowly. Dishwasher has mold inside it. Lots of cobwebs. Most outlets were loose and didn't hold plugs for chargers. Pillows were flat as pancakes. Adequate linens and towels. Plenty of dishes in great shape. Great views as the posting states. Easy walk to the beach. Good parking. Great directions to find the house. Check out procedures and expectations are not super clear. Many rules and notes everywhere. Would be great to see them all in the binder. Also would be great to have notes on how to get to the beach in the binder. "

"House was nice, dog friendly. Hosts answered questions right away. Just a note, the beds were very tall which was fine for us but may be difficult for someone with mobility issues. "

"Price for the room was not worth the lack of amenities. The hot tub and swimming pool were not open yet. And it was very cold in our room. Even though there was some sort of central heating, it was cold.There were wood burning stoves available, but no firewood"

"Beautiful view Watched whales! A couple small issues where we notified the host of an issue at the house but never received a response. Regardless house is spacious n worked well for us "
