“We had a fantastic stay here. The resort is absolutely perfect, great location and amenities, it’s almost too good to leave to go exploring (but you have to!). The room, balcony and view was spectacular. If you are thinking of going here, stop thinking, just book it, and definitely upgrade to the Gold experience, it’s worth it. The private hostess, lounge, amenities, all top notch.”

“Very beautiful resort. The house we booked is really big and close to the private beach and The Shops (Shopping Plaza). However, the private beach is not very large and because of there are not many restaurants at The Shops, we need to wait for a long time for dinner on Sunday. Overall, this resort is great and the staff also very polite and helpful.”

“Beautiful ocean view. Space was very clean. We spent our time exploring the island and were not interested in the large resorts. Host were welcoming! Thank you for the fruit plate! If you want a comfortable and quiet place to stay, this place will not disappoint. Use of a washer and dryer was also a plus.”

“We had a short one night stay, but it was fantastic. The apartment was cute and comfortable and getting to sleep serenaded by the waterfall and forest noises was magical. ”

“We had a wonderful stay! This cottage is cozy and comfy, providing everything we needed for a great visit. It’s in a quiet neighborhood close to Waimea but also close to the beach. We enjoyed watching the birds and the amazing views of Mauna Kea. It’s clean and well kept. We did find some ants in the kitchen but the owners responded right away to take care of the problem. We did have a bit of trouble figuring out where to go when we arrived. It wasn’t obvious from the info provided that we……

Definitely arrive in the afternoon if possible so you can enjoy the property. The waterfalls and creeks are gorgeous! Be sure to eat before you arrive or bring food, as nearby options are limited. “The entire property was magical--such a peaceful and serene area. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Owl Nest. The property was equipped with everything I needed, making my experience completely comfortable. One of my favorite details was how, by opening all the curtains, you feel almost as if you’re sitting outside. The windows stay open with screens, so at night you can hear the soothing sounds of frogs and rain. It was an incredible way to connect with nature while indoors. I would rate this……
