"The location was just what I thought it would be. It was easy to get into Hilo town or head to Volcano National Park. The host is very responsive to any needs we had since she is right there on site. The interior was clean and very comfortable. The lanai is perfectly private."

"Everything was very modern and clean. It would be nice if there was a kitchen sink or basin in which to wash our dishes. A simple coffee machine would work better than a Keurig machine as there was only one pod per day and we enjoy a few cups of coffee throughout the day. A few extra utensils would also be handy as we like to cook our meals."

We never tire of visiting Kilauea when we visit the Big Island and Jim's lodging is only about a mile from the entrance to Volcanoes National Park. "We were very happy with the studio for our stay in Hilo. It was clean and close to the downtown, restaurants and shopping. Also a short drive to the airport. Located on the quiet side of the island."

"Overall great experience. Easy check in and good communication with property management. The bathroom is in need of updating, one set of faucets didn’t work and the shower head shoots water out the door. We couldn’t get the ceiling fan to work but didn’t really need it. The vertical blinds were not operational so we just left them open the whole time. We would stay here again!"

"Check in was snow, the room guaranteed by 4:00 pm, I was there at 3:40pm and they won’t let us to the room till 4:00pm, this resort didn’t provide shampoo and conditioner, it is kind of weir."
