“The location is good for people who are driving with easy parking. The bad point is the room's lack of temperature control. The temperature is locked at 22 degrees, and I informed reception that they can't do anything about it. It is freezing cold inside the room.”

“Great sized room with modern decor and lovely small touches linking it to the location next to the studios - excellent staff, downside was the fan that was provided in the room, didn’t really work effectively but it was a heatwave and even though the hotel decor is modern the building is quite old. Breakfast also had a great selection and it’s a great place to stay that’s quiet but easy to get into central.”

“Rooms were like saunas. No aircon in the rooms and staff did not have fans available. Nice gardens but the hotel needs updating.”

“Would be even more excellent with air-conditioning. The room will be heated up by the afternoon sunshine after 15:00.”

“Staff were excellent and got a free welcome drink from the bar which was a bonus. Rooms were good size and it’s ideal for a base. The only issue was there was no Air con and it’s been really hot. Tube station 20 min walk. Good parking would stay again.”

“Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel offers an excellent location right next to the Watford Junction station, and a 5-muinutes walk to the Watford High Street. The room was clean and well-maintained. We opted for the breakfast and it was a good choice. Not a wide food selection but everything served was of great quality. Very nice coffee too! The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.”

“Stayed June 20 & 21, 2026. The directions were great, the staff very helpful and accommodating. The 2 nights were very hot & humid! Didn't know how to open the windows, thought they needed keys, but they didn't. We're from Canada so the windows are different. Luckily we had a fan in the room to help us sleep the 1st night. With the windows open the 2nd night, we still needed the fan for comfort. Apparently the UK was having a heat wave! Sam, the owner/manager (?) was very responsive and……
